PRINCETON, N.J. – The Orange boasted four top five marks on the second day of the ECAC/IC4A Championship, led by junior Jarret Eaton, who beat out 33 others for the fastest preliminary mark in the 110-meter hurdles for the second year in a row with a time of 14.78. Eaton, graduate students Michael LeBlanc and Antoine Clark and freshman Darryl White also banded together for a third-place showing in the 400-meter relay (40.47).

Graduate student Nana Sang-Bender also set herself up for a promising day going into tomorrow's final after earning third in the 1,500-meter run with her fastest time of the season (4:28.49). Sophomore Lauren Penney posted an eighth-place mark of 4:28.44 to race with Sang-Bender in the finals. Junior Elizabeth McCarter (4:29.92) and senior Maegan Krifchin (4:53.39) did not qualify for the finals.

A trio of Orange men competed in the 100-meter dash, but LeBlanc was the only one who earned a spot in the finals after recording a fifth-place time of 10.60. White, who posted a mark of 10.75 in his first IC4A trial for 13th place, crossed the line at the same time as Clark. Graduate student Bernard Bush (10.98) also vied for a spot in the finals, but missed the cut.

Joining Eaton in the 110-meter hurdles prelims was sophomore Matthew Callanan, who bested his performance last year after turning in a 19th-place showing of 14.78.

Bush was the lone Orange competitor in the field events and placed 12th in the long jump with a mark of 7.05m.

The final day of competition will commence tomorrow at 10 a.m. with the women's shotput.
