Philadelphia, PA – The Wagner College Men's Outdoor Track and Field team earned a top-10 finish at day two of the Penn Relays on Friday. The Distance Medley Relay team, consisting of senior
James Johnston (Middle Island, NY/Longwood), senior
Matt Villane (Monmouth Beach, NJ/Shore Regional), senior
Kevin Kearney (Haddonfield, NJ/St. Joe's Prep), and sophomore
Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PA/St. Joe's Prep), took eighth place out of 41 of the top teams in the nation.
The men finished in 10:19.19 – another season-best mark for the Seahawks. They were only seconds off of the school record of 10:11.7, set in 1984.
The Seahawks will compete next at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships on May 1st in Emmitsburg, MD.
