Staten Island, NY – Wagner Track and Field recruit Daniel Zaccariello (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph By the Sea) was mentioned in the March 2010 edition of ESPN RISE Magazine. Zaccariello will join the Seahawks next season after completing his senior year at Staten Island's St. Joseph's By the Sea High School.

Zaccariello is widely regarded as one of the top runners in the state of New York. Recently, he placed eighth at the NYSPHSAA-NY State Championships with a time of 2:33.87 in the 1000-meter run. He also had two impressive finishes at the CHSAA Intersectional's on February 6th and 13th. He finished the 1000-meter run in 2:29.32 and the 1600-meter event in 4:25.19. Both times earn him first place honors in the events.
