FULL RESULTS

Staten Island, NY – Junior Derek Schultz (Ocean Port, NJ/Shore Regional) claimed a new season-best for the Seahawks at the Wagner Quad on Wednesday. Schultz finished the 100-meter dash in 11.06, bettering the previous mark of 12.23 set on March 20th. He finished third out of 15 athletes in the event.

Also in the 100-meter dash, freshman Alan Kopeloff (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) registered a season-best time. Kopeloff finished in 11.66 – placing tenth out of 15 athletes. Senior Matt Villane (Monmouth Beach, NJ/Shore Regional) added another personal season-best in the 400-meter dash. Villane finished fifth out of 12 athletes in the 400-meter run with a time 52.56.

Wagner 4x200 and 4x800 relay teams both registered season-best finishes in their events. The 4x200 team placed first with a 1:47.3 finish, while the 4x800 team took second with a 7:57.8 mark.

The Seahawks travel to the METS Spring Championships in Palisades Park, NJ on Saturday.
