Michael LeBlanc led the Orange at the 31st Annual Sun Angel Track Classic, as the graduate student earned the only individual title for his squad. The meet, hosted by Arizona State University, took place on the Joe Selleh Track at Sun Angel Stadium on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10.

LeBlanc won his crown in the 100-meter dash, finishing the race with a time of 10.43. The veteran runner was joined in the race by freshman Darryl White, who placed fifth (10.88). In addition to this first-place finish, LeBlanc also helped the Syracuse 'A' relay team take leg out a victory in the 4 x 100-meter race. His team included indoor standout Jarret Eaton, freshman Amadou Gueye, and freshman Tyler McCully. In the 4 x 400-meter relay, the Syracuse squad of Eaton, Gueye, McCully, and Matthew Callanan placed third.

In the 200-meter dash, LeBlanc also led all of his teammates, placing fourth with a time of 21.46. Eaton finished 22nd (22.08), while Antoine Clark took 26th (22.14). McCully placed 29th overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.15.

As for the hurdles events, Eaton led his squad with a sixth place finish (14.26) in the 110-meter race, while Callanan took 34th in the 400-meter hurdles. Senior Jon Buice finished 16th in the men's high jump with a leap of 1.91m.

On the women's side, senior Melissa Romero recorded a mark of 1.68m in the high jump. Teammates Annabelle Pellerin and Kelsey Rubeor competed in the event as well, finishing 13th and 21st, respectively. Rubeor also ran the 100-meter hurdles, placing 46th with a time of 16.53. Additionally in the field events, senior Lorraine Hill finished 12th in the javelin with a mark of 41.63m, while Rubeor's throw of 37.87m earned her 18th place. Junior Lareea Chisholm rounded out the women's events with her time of 25.49 in the 200-meter dash, putting her in 32nd place.

Next up for the Orange will be the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17.
