Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PA/St. Joe's Prep), senior
James Johnston (Middle Island, NY/Longwood), and sophomore
Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NY/Longwood) all registered season-best finishes at the Princeton Invitational on Friday.
Iannacone led the way with a 3:57.84 finish in the 1500-meter event. He finished 24th in the event out of 28 runners. His time is a new personal-best and stands as the fastest time in the Northeast Conference (NEC) this season.
Spector also registered a personal-best time in the 5000-meter run. He finished in 15:11.98 and placed 32nd out of 46 racers. His time was approximately two seconds better than the previous NEC best of 15:13.58 set last week.
Johnston finished the 3000-meter steeple event in 9:37.65. The time was seconds off his personal-best, but stands as a new season-best and NEC best time this season.
The Seahawks will take part in the Wagner College Invitational today.
