AUSTIN, Texas - A small squad of sprinters and field athletes from the Syracuse University track and field teams will make the trip to Austin, Texas, where they will be competing in the 83rd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The meet, which will be hosted by the University of Texas, is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 31 at the Longhorns' Mike A. Myers Stadium, and will conclude on Saturday, Apr. 3.

Matt Callanan will be representing the Orange in both the 110-meter hurdles, as well as the 400-meter hurdles. Callanan won two crowns, both in the 55-meter dash, during the indoor season. Indoor standout Jarret Eaton will also be competing in the 110-meter hurdles, along with newcomer Amadou Gueye. Eaton qualified for the 2009-10 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships after breaking the 60-meter hurdles school record, while Gueye earned a bid to both the BIG EAST and IC4A Championships this past winter.

Also for the men, graduate student Michael LeBlanc and sophomore Darryl White will compete in the 100-meter dash. In the field events, graduate student Bernard Bush will lead the Orange in the long jump after finishing his indoor season at the IC4A Championships.

On the women's side, senior Uhunoma Osazuwa will be the lone representative for SU in both the long jump and 100-meter hurdles. Osazuwa represented Syracuse at this year's NCAA Indoor Championships. Junior Lareea Chisholm, also coming off of a strong indoor season, will look to bring home the title in the 100-meter dash. Senior Lorraine Hill will compete in the javelin at the Texas Relays.
