Breakdown: It's been a breakout year for Sloan Wasserman, but now it's time for the biggest stage yet. She missed out on the merge win at Pre-States, but still took down quality competition. Then she ran an impressive mark in a low-key invitational, showcasing the speed is there.
Now, at Manhattan, the field is loaded with NY talent. Six of the top ten athletes in New York are entered, with many starting to improve. Delaware, NH, and CT are bringing top competitors too, but this one looks good for the Empire State.
The team battle is another story. Padua looked very good in the early season as a unit, and bring back their entire Top 7 from last year. Can John Jay take on the top returners and come out on top?
