73rd Eastern States Championships:  Acceptances | Live Webcast @ 6pm 

Abington PA boys won the 4x400 with a US#4 time of 2:20.56.  Amber Allen, Passaic County, won the 400 meter dash with a US#4 time of 55.55.  Michelle Brown, Seneca NY, was 2nd with a US#6 55.74.  Emily Kianka, Hopewell Valley, won the high jump to stand alone as US#1 with a leap of 5-11.  Lacey Shuman, Maryvale Prep MD, was 2nd and equaled her best of 5-10.  Nick Vena, Morristown NJ, won the shot put with a toss of 69-2.  Alaine Tate, Bayside NY, blazed through the 800 with a US#2 mark of 2:11.16.  Matt Conti, Shaker NY, won the 800 with a time of 1:55.76.  Super Soph Najee Glass, St. Peter's Prep NJ, won the 400 meter dash with a US#2 time of 47.87.  He is only the 2nd runner in the country under 48 this year.  Vanessa Stewart, North Babylon NY, won the shot with a US#2 47-4.75.  Sophomore Kyle Plante, Colonie, won the 200 meter dash in 24.25 for a US #3.  Zamir Thomas, Snyder NJ, won the 200 meter dash and equaled his US#5 mark of 21.74.  Aisling Cuffe, Cornwall NY, lapped the entire field enroute to a US#1 time in the 2 mile run of 10:28.20.  Quinn Raseman, Ward Melville NY, won the boys 2 mile with a time of 9:19.71.  Mount Vernon NY won the girls 4x200 with a US#4 time of 1:41.36.  Columbia NY was 2nd in US#7 1:42.57.  Mount Vernon NY won the boys 4x200 with a US#6 time of 1:29.84.  Columbia NY won the girls 4x800 with a time of 9:24.92.  Abington PA won the 4x800 with an unofficial US#3 time of 7:52.70.  Old Bridge NJ was right on their heels at the finish in 7:52.98.  Haddonfield NJ lit up the Armory track in the DMR with a US#1 10:10.60.  Jonathan Vitez anchored Haddonfield with a 4:14.6 split.  Toms River North NJ was 2nd with a US#2 time of 10:15.86.Chaminade NY was 3rd with a US#4 time of 10:16.88.  Lenape NJ won the girls DMR in 11:58.92, a US#3 time.  Miles Shuler-Foster, Long Branch NY, won the 55 dash with a time of 6.35, good for a tie at US#3.  Winslow Dorsainvil, Spring Valley, was 2nd in 6.37, a tie for US#4.  The girls 55 meter dash produced US#2 and US#4 times in the country.  English Gardner, Eastern, won with a time of 6.91 (Photo by Tim Fulton) and Myasia Jacobs, Paramus Catholic, was 2nd in 6.93.
