SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior hurdler Jarret Eaton boasts the fastest 60-meter hurdle time in the nation, according to the latest NCAA Division I rankings released on Feb. 18. Eaton completed in the event in 7.68 at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 4. He is .01 seconds away from Oklahoma's Ronnie Ash, who holds the second-best time.

The Abington, Pa. native broke a school record previously held by graduated senior Ramon Sosa, who finished in 7.75 at last year's New Balance Invite. Eaton's time automatically qualified him for the NCAA Indoor Championship, which will take place in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 13 and 14.

The Orange travels to the Big Apple for the BIG EAST Indoor Championship on Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21.
