Recap: Inspired by being the first race after Eastern's, Marshall Vernon puts on a stellar performance, running the second fastest time of the day solo. He split the pairing in Eastern's, and may have provided a major threat for the overall win had he raced in the same division. Still, he is the fastest underclassmen, and will be back for vengeance next year, not before a battle with Barrett at NXR. The race also pulls Sykes into the fastest time by a New Yorker outside of Easterns as well, the fastest sophomore of the day.
