ITHACA, N.Y. - The Cornell University Department of Athletics and Physical Education, in conjunction with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), will hold its annual celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, Feb. 13, beginning at 5:45 p.m.

Members from the Cornell varsity teams will be in attendance to teach the girls the skills specific to their sports. We encourage all participating girls to wear comfortable clothing and proper footwear.

The event will take place in Bartels Hall and participants will receive free admission to that evening's women's basketball game vs. Princeton, which begins at 7 p.m. The first one hundred girls in attendance will also receive a free t-shirt. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the event concludes at 7:00 p.m.

After the game there will be an autograph session where the girls will be able to meet and speak with the members of the Big Red women's basketball team.
