Teams: Shenendehowa (NY-2), Auburn (NY-3), Guilderland (NY-6)

Breakdown: Less than a dozen girls have ever dipped under 16:45 in Genesee Valley Park, but Tsadia Bercuvitz could be able to add her name to that list after her performance last Saturday. That's roughly what her speed rating from Bville translates too, and the sophomore star is in good form. Behind her, there is a good battle of top talent, including the top returners Vellekoop and Brady, followed by Bhusri. Those three returners also serve as individuals within the strong team battle, looking to settle the State Rankings outside NY-1.

Teams: Ithaca (NY-1), Saratoga (NY-3), Colonie (NY-4), Corning (NY-5)

Breakdown:  Will an out-of-stater return to the top of the podium? Spellacy is the top returner from 2023, but by less than a second. That's because New York has some strong contenders battling for team and individual honors. It was Hubisz who finished 0.4 seconds behind Spellacy last year, and he and his teammate Hilker are in great form. Likewise, Saratoga saw their trio impress at the Pre-State Invitational, and are entered here. Spellacy's teammate is in the mix, as is Kramer of PA, who is the third top returner from last year. A lot of familiarity with the course will come into play here, as the right surge at the right time could be the deciding factor.
