SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Emily Harman (Petersburg, W.Va.) and junior Corey Robinson (Rochester, N.Y.) have been named the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week for the week of February 1, 2010.

Harman is a member of the tennis team. She compiled a 6-0 record at No. 1 singles and doubles as the Orange opened its season with three-straight wins this past weekend. A 2009 All-BIG EAST selection, Harman compiled a 41-27 overall record during her rookie campaign, including an 11-8 mark at No. 1 singles.

Harman is a health and exercise science major in the School of Education. The Orange puts its undefeated record on the line against Eastern Michigan, Michigan and Michigan State beginning Friday, February 5.

Robinson is a distance runner on the track & field team. He set the pace for the Orange at the BU Terrier Invitational, placing third in the 3,000-meter run with an 8:07.31. Robinson is also a member of the cross country team.

Robinson is a dual major in geography and television radio film. The Orange returns to Manley Field House to host the Syracuse Invitational on Friday, February 5.
