Men's Track Finishes on Top at Class of '32 Invitational

— Junior Dan Gleason (Norwalk, Conn.) set a personal record finishing first in the mile to lead the Colgate University men's track and field team to victory at the Class of '32 Invitational. The Raiders captured 12 top-five showings to win the meet with 84 points. Brockport was the runner-up with 54 points.

Gleason turned in a time of 4:15.64 in the mile to break his own record and was followed by freshman Christopher Johnson (Murry Hill, N.J.) who finished with a career-best time of 4:18.23.
 
Junior Dan Schwaibold (Atlanta, Ga.) won the 500-meter run with a 1:07.66, while a trio of Raiders finished among the top of the leader board in the 800-mteter run. Juniors Andrew Smith (York, Pa.), Jon Knowlton (North Salem, N.Y.) and Ed Boulat (Larchmont, N.Y.), finished fourth, fifth and sixth with times of 1:56.48, 1:56.69 and 1:56.90, respectively.

In the sprinting events, sophomore Graham Tooker (Devon, Pa.) finished second in both the 200- and 400-meter dash. Tooker finished the 200m with a time of 22.72, and the 400m in 50.27. 
 
The Raiders return to the track on Feb. 6 at the Syracuse Invitational.
