State of the Action: What a race. Neither team projected in the Top 3, defied expectations to bring down the Title to a tie-breaker. Monroe-Woodbury had a lopsided performance, with a very strong Top 4, but Saratoga had the smallest compression of the day for any team in any gender, and that was enough to survive the rush up front. It's the only tie-breaker in State History, although their 1-point win in 2012 means they are used to that pressure.
