Section 11 Boys
Class A
Rank | Team | Avg SR | Spread | Top Runners |
1 | Commack | 157.2 | 16 | Walsh, Byrd, Manning |
2 | Northport | 157.2 | 21 | Cruz, Ko, Abbas, Parker, Donoghue |
3 | Ward Melville | 156.2 | 35 | Liebowitz, Seyfert, Brown |
4 | Eastport-South Manor | 153.8 | 28 | O'Neill, Zorn, Nedvin |
5 | Smithtown | 153 | 47 | Antaky, DiStefano |
6 | Bay Shore | 143.6 | 49 | Gogarty, Belford |
7 | West Islip | 141 | 43 | DeVito, Moore |
This one gets interesting, as the separation between the top two was clear at Interdivisionals. But we get the feeling Northport was ramping up for a big Sectional Race, and the differential will be much closer. Commack will have to respond to hold them off, but has shown that ability all Season. We think the team scoring will be much closer than the individual race, as Doug Antaky has been on a tear this fall.

Harborfields is the reigning champ, and brings back everyone but one from last years' squad. Miller Place is the leading contender, with a much tighter pack, that could put a real scare into the field. It's basically a rematch from the year before, and we have to go with history.
