Bethlehem, PA – Senior captain
Amanda Gland (Woodbury, CT/Nonnewaug) earned top honors in the Long Jump and Triple Jump events at the 18th John Covert Classic held on Saturday evening in Lehigh University's Rauch Field House. Her, and first-year stand out

Gland took first place out of 19 athletes in the Long Jump with a season-best measurement of 5.58 meters. Her efforts topped the previous team-best mark of 5.48 meters set by freshman
Tiffany Dawson (Staten Island, NY/Curtis) on December 5th. Gland earned her second first-place finish in the Triple Jump with a mark of 11.15 meters. The length was best among the nine other athletes in the event, and Wagner's second-best mark this season (Gland, 11.20m).
Adding to Wagner's top-place finishes was Taylor, who took the top spot over 17 other athletes in the Shot Put event with a 12.54 meter mark. Taylor also finished third in the Weight Throw with a 15.21 meter spot. Her length in the event is a new season-best for the Seahawks.
