PSAL Preview
It was a nail-biter in 2022, as Stuyvesant just edged out Bronx Science by two points for the title of "Best in the City." However, both schools lost some key members to graduation, opening the door for some new teams to step in.
We saw that turnover on the track this Spring, as Hunter College HS produced two of the best middle distance runners in the State, breaking the long held PSAL Record in the 1500m, held by alumnus Nnenna Lynch. Ella Cohen and Dylan McElhinney both dipped under 4:25 in the 1500m, and that can only mean big things for the back hills of Van Cortlandt.
