Summary:  Monroe-Woodbury will go to States as one of the favorites for the title, and with a little tighter compression by a boost in the 4-5-6 spots, the Crusaders could take the crown. The battle in S9-A will be strictly for the 2nd spot and the at-large individual berths, and there are a few possiblities there. Collin Gilstrap has the highest rating and finished 3rd in the race last year, and Collin Catherwood was the runner-up.

Summary:  Goshen is maybe the favorite, but there are a quartet of teams in the mix here gunning for the S9-B title. The Gladiators have a much better compression than Mount if everyone is healthy, but there are questions about that, and both Mount and Lourdes ran at much higher speed rating while finishing 1-2 at MHAL than did Goshen while finishing 3rd at OCIAA. Mount's MHAL champ Donovan Baird is on a winning streak and will be the individual favorite over Goshen's Caleb Ayau.

Summary:  Reigning state champion Tri-Valley will easily win in S9-D again, but this year the starting line will be much enhanced with the emergence of promising teams from Pine Plains and Rhinebeck. Reigning S9-D champ Adam Furman will take the win here and look to take the States crown this year.
