DeRoo Breaks School Record, Wins Patriot League Championship

—Sophomore Elise DeRoo led the Colgate University women's cross-country team to fourth-place, Saturday at the Patriot League Championship.

DeRoo brought home the individual title shattering the school-record with a personal-best time of 22:01.7. This is DeRoo's third individual title of the season. DeRoo is the first Raider to claim the individual title since junior Stacy Marion did in 2007.

Bucknell won the meet placing all fiver harriers in the top-25 for a low score of 65 points, while the Raiders finished fourth overall with 114 points.
 
Junior Julie Tarallo finished second on the team, 12th overall, with a time of 23:36.0, while sophomore Kelly Cattano was third, 18th overall with a time of 24:07.1.

Junior Allie Bodack, and freshman Jeannie Sauter rounded out the Raiders with times of 24:39.0 and 25:09.6, respectively.
 
Colgate hits the course again when it travels to Boston for the NCAA Regional Qualifier on Nov. 14. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
