Top NY Teams for 2022
Using
the TR speed ratings for returning runners from last year without any
adjustments for great 2022 track results, here's the
list of how the top 10
NY teams stack up, going strictly by the average brute speed ratings.
Numbers in parentheses show the TR spread between the
first and fifth runner on a team, and lower compression numbers are
usually much better. A TR spread of 20 means that the team's top runner
on average is a minute ahead of its fifth runner on a 5K course. Monroe-Woodbury's 39 spread means that its frontrunner averaged almost two minutes
ahead of the number 5 spot.
Note that once the rankings begin
around mid September, other factors besides raw speed ratings will be
factored in to determine Top 10 list.
