Joe Licata (Gill St. Bernard's School, NJ) leads the Discus field, but is playing chase in the Shot Put. His 65-foot throw is behind that of Jacob Cookinham's (Bishop Stang, MA) 66-1. That makes for a great matchup to keep an eye out for in the circle.
Girls
Shea Greene (Weston, CT) is looking to challenge the Meet Record in the Javelin, with her PR of 144 just one inch short of the standing Record. The Shot Put has two of New York's 40-footers in Skylar Rosenberg (Clarkstown South) and Deborah Estabine (North Rockland). Discus is close enough to be anybody's competition to seize.
