2022 Loucks Games Set To Impress - Full Preview

Jumps

Boys

Five jumpers over 22-feet in the Long Jumps this is the jump to watch at Loucks. Tyler Gong (Collegiate) is over 23-feet with a jump Indoors, but see's plenty of competition should that jump not come again. Nicholas Lourenco (Saint Anthony's) leads the field in the Vault with the 16-6 mark from Indoors, and Triple Jump seeds saw three over 44-feet.

Girls

Two athletes over 19-feet in the Long Jump means a strong field, and the Triple Jump equally so, but our eyes are on the High Jump. Leeann Redlo (Bayport-Blue Point) and Angelina Napoleon (Allegany-Limestone) both come in with 5-7 clearances, and D'Jior Delisser (Bloomfield, CT) is right behind at 5-6. The margins are thin, which means the competition should come down to the wire. Pole Vault has two athletes over 12-feet, and with cooperative weather, should reach those heights.
