2022 Loucks Games Set To Impress - Full Preview

Sprints

Boys

Loaded. That's the best way to describe the sprint events at Loucks, and if the weather holds off, this weekend will be fast. In the 60m final at New Balance Indoor Nationals, Fitzroy Ledgister (St. Peter's Prep, NJ) and Carter Cukerstein (Shenendehowa) went 4th and 5th respectively, and they'll be entered here in both the 100m and 200m. Cukerstein dropped a NWI mark of 10.50 last weekend, so he's ready to roll. They'll be joined by Jaavier Jackson (Cardinal Hayes) in the 200m, pushing three athletes right to 21seconds flat.

Girls

Saint Anthony's will try to sweep the top spots in the 100m, as Camryn Daley and Giavanna Ciaravino look the quickest out the blocks. At double the distance, Leann Mc Donald (Paul Robeson) is the only athlete under 25seconds, but Tori Daniels (Valley Stream South) is knocking at that door with her 25.08.
