State of the Action: It's hard to call it an upset, as the title was kept in the family, but Brynn Bernard had a season-best race to win the Class D State Title. Running seven points higher than her previous best, Bernard was able to put almost 40-seconds on the field, pulling away early, and never looking back. Her sister, Lexi Bernard, was right behind, doing battle with the best of the State, and maintaining that 1-2 punch for the team.
