What The Numbers Say:
Burnt Hills took a big jump up at their Sectional Meet, so much so that they are only three points off Corning in the overall Sectional Merge. That kind of improvement bodes well for them to continue their State streak that dates back to 2016. With a shuffling of their finish order over the last three outings, the interchangeability is there to make up for any off-races come States, and look at bigger targets, namely the Federation Meet.
What Can Change:
Westhampton Beach is actually the top team through three runners. They also would win head-to-head with Burnt Hills through four runners. It's their fifth that creates the big gap between the two programs, and pushes them closer to Pittsford-Mendon as well. If WB can close up their 5th runner, they can make some big jumps in the scoring, quickly.
