It was overall a bit more quiet In the week before McQuaid, as teams went to Six Flags in NJ, or for regional competition at Bowdoin, or to
Baldwinsville, or the Ocean State meet in RI, or East Aurora, or Ocean Breeze for the Xavier Invite. Burnt Hills kicked everything into high gear at Baldwinsville to swoop to the top of Class B and behind in the overall rankings to only a Cornwall team that was the best of the best at Bowdoin. Trinity had the second and third fastest guys at Bowdoin and moved to the top of Class C. Tri-Valley also held its own among the big teams and remains firmly in the lead in Class D
The McQuaid meet will highlight the coming weekend, accompanied by other major invites such as St. Anthony's, Grout, Brewster Bear, Byram Hills Bobcat,
Guilderland, Tully, and Whitesboro. Out of state, a few teams may be
venturing to the New Jersey Shore coaches meet.
