It's been a while since we've been to Lehigh University, but we will return to the Murray Goodman Campus in Bethlehem on Friday for the Paul Short Run, which makes its return after a year off last fall due to the pandemic.
There are some big-time races on tap for Lehigh, and as always, we should see plenty of fast times on the mostly flat 5K.
The course record should be on high alert on the boys' side, as Gary Martin chases some history in the White Race. Speaking of course records, we saw a girls' course record two years ago at the last Paul Short Run that was held, as Corning's (NY) Karrie Baloga dropped a sub-17 time to take the win. There are a couple of loaded girls races to watch out for, as well, this Friday.
