Connecticut Girls XC Class M- SS - S Previews + NEPSTA Group

Class S's Top Teams

Two other teams could be added to the list below. Thomaston was a big Class winner back in 2019 but lost its top two plus another runner to graduation last year and it's unclear who will be making up the back of the squad though there's good strength at the top. Old Saybrook also has a good top group but needs to fill out the roster.

Bolton got edged by Somers in the NCCC championship last year but has the full Bulldog squad back led by 2nd place finisher Megan Minicucci. Somers has top runner and NCCC champ Rachel St. Germain back but lost three runners to graduation, so the Spartans have some rebuilding work to do. Shepaug Valley finished a ways behind Thomaston in the Berkshire league last year but has all five runners of its small squad back led by Eilish Foy, so another group of Spartans should be contenders. Immaculate did well to finish 3rd among bigger schools in the SWC, and after some key losses from last year's squad behind Keelin Bremner and Kayla Ondy, the Mustangs will need to strengthen the back pack.
