No. 11 Men Place Second in Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Syracuse men's cross country team finished second overall at the Panorama Invitational Friday afternoon. The 11th-ranked men finished second to No. 15 Virginia, while No. 24 Villanova, No. 26 Duke, and Texas A&M completed in the top five.
The squad was led by senior Dan Busby (23:47.48) in the 10K race, who placed fifth overall. Senior Jeff Scull (23:48.63), sophomore Tito Medrano (23:53.51), and senior Brad Miller (24:02.24) rounded out the top 10. Medrano last competed at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational, where he propelled the Orange to a first place finish, besting two top 10 teams.
The Orange, which continues to climb to its highest ranking in program history, will reunite with the women's team to compete at the John Reif Memorial in Ithaca, N.Y. on Friday, Oct. 23.
