With almost 250 high schools and over 7,500 runnera the 45th McQuaid Invitational will once again be one of the premiere high school meets in the country. For the first time ever ArmoryTrack.com will be on site to capture the excitement with photos, videos, and coverage.
Here's a look at who's racing who. For example, the boys varsity AA (medium/large schools) will feature over 10 ranked teams.

MEET PREVIEW:
Trying to do a meet preview of this monster meet is almost impossible so let's just take a quick peak at some of the top races. No Fayetteville-Manlius this year really changes the whole feel but may actually make the meet more interesting locally even if it's less interesting for the rest of the country.
The girls AA race, which matches up medium/large schools, could be a dandy. Burnt Hills is of course the favorite out there but Canandaiga is a very good team and so it Pittsford Mendon. These 3 teams make up 3 of the best 5 class A teams in the state and it should be a three team race. The race has some nice depth as Brighton, Somers, Canton, Wayne, Geneva, and Amherst are all state ranked as well.
The boys AAA race features Burnt Hills, who have shown they are one of the top 3 teams in the state this year, maybe the best right now. Ithaca, Liverpool, and Saugus, CA will toe the line in one of the smaller races on the day.

The girls AAA race features Saugus, CA, who were trying to match up against FM on their home turf. Too bad FM had other plans this year (tests and conflicts impacted decision not to race way before they new Saugus was coming). So I guess the story line will be how fast can Saugus run? Can they beat FM's team average? This will be fun to watch

The boys AA seeded race is a great one. McQuaid is the favorite, given their early season performance and the home course advantage, but there are a few teams behind them witl some ability. Jamesville-DeWitt could give them the best challenge with their up front strength and depth. Brighton is a challenger and Somers make the long trip up from Section 1 after racing without their 1-2 last weekend. Throw on HFL, Pittsford Mendon, Wayne, and Pittsford Sutherland and this could be the closest race of the day.
