Grading The State Standards - Which Event Has The Most Q's


It's Championship Season, and athletes are chasing down the numbers.  State Standards are the benchmark times athletes have to surpass, to be considered as a Qualifier for the State Meet, should they place 3rd place at their Qualifier.  They are based on the 6th place finisher over the past set amount of years at the New York State Championships.  Depth in certain events can fluctuate over that time period, so while one event may be the most popular the year before, there could be much fewer qualifiers in 2020.
