Why We're Excited: Cross country may have just ended, but that fitness is being put to good use.  Running in the same meet, albeit different races, Claire Walters knocked out a very strong Mile to get her State Standard out of the way.  Coming through 1009m at 3:00.00, she would have set a state leader in the event in the open, alongside a strong opening DMR leg when she split 3:38 for 1209m.  Meanwhile, Rauber soloed her 3000m in traffic, for a State Standard in the double distance.
