The Six Biggest Storylines From Sectionals Week

Despite injuries to some members of their Top 5 during the year, North Rockland managed to run their best team race of the year to return to States for the fifth straight year.  Class A individual favorite Katelyn Tuohy ran her best race of the year, garnering a 166.43 Speed Rating, in which she called it a relaxed effort.

In Class C, Dobbs Ferry broke a 22-year winning streak by Bronxville, to make their trip to the State Meet.  Dobbs Coach JP Kaminski had previously announced this was his final year with the team, so his tenure has been extended by one week.  Likewise, this is the first year for Bronxville without Jim Mitchell at the helm, who lead the Bronco's to all of those 22 straight Sectional wins.
