Summary: Last year Xavier seemed set to capture the CHSAA championship after a solid win at NY-BQ CHSAA, but things changed around on the big Saturday and the Knights wound up 4th and Archbishop Molloy ran off with the trophy. These things happen in XC. This year Fordham Prep is coming off a big win at NY-BQ-CHSAA that saw the Rams outscore Xavier and Monsignor Farrell by 41-56-58, with that pesky B Class team Regis in at 97.

There's no saying that FP will repeat a performance at the Championship that saw them place Niall Ryan, Eamonn Sullivan, and Myles Hogan 1-2-3, but if they manage that feat again, they will win. Xavier has a question mark at the top, and if Oliver Branham-Upton is leading the Knights' charge, they could also pack their way to a victory. Monsignor Farrell is very close to the throne, and if the Lions can pull some more guys up into the top 25, they could also be providing the champions' triumphal roar.

With some uncertainty about the status of at least one top runner, we'll just provide the speed ratings table fo the top 10 runners and say may the best man win. But if the 11th runner takes the race and wants to then tease us about our oversight, that's fine too.
