Summary:  After years of hard-fought battles at the S3-A race between two teams that were often headed to Nationals together, last year was a perfectly  easy win for Fayetteville-Manlius by 15-64 over Liverpool at a mudhole of a Sectional. This year's contest will be slightly closer with the Warriors still a year away from strongly challenging the Hornets, but FM should still win comfortably with a squad ranked #1 in the state. Peyton Geehrer and Sam Otis of FM are the top rated guys, but the main target here is to survive the cold, grab a berth to Plattsburgh, and then get ready to run a very fast 5K next Saturday. And it's worth noting that 8 of the top 13 rated guys here are juniors.

Summary:  CBA pulled everything together at OHSL Liberty with a well-balance performance that should help send it to States. Last year's champ Westhill could well be in line for 2nd. Riley Nash came in 1st last year with Tyler Fauvelle in 2nd, but Skaneateles's Caleb Bender was tops at Liberty and is expected to battle Fauvelle for the win.
