Breakdown: Last year both Elaine Atanasova and her Duanesburg team won DI championships by huge margins, but this year the competition looks to be much closer on both the team and individual fronts. Harley-Allendale-Columbia finished 9th in a strong McQuaid A field two weeks ago and the Wolves may have the advantage over a Mt. Greylock team that finished 2nd to Delhi in the Queensbury-2 race almost a month ago. Lily Czub of Hoosic Valley was 3rd at Queensbury and is a small favorite in the DI race over Madison Relyea of Mayfield and Roxana Reisch (pictured) of HAC.
