New York Boys State Rankings - Week 4

Following Week of Saturday, October 5

The Week 4 rankings was for much of the state a resting recovery time following McQuaid, and top action was fairly limited. Shaker, Washingtonville, and Delhi all had wins at Grout, North Rockland won at Scarsdale, Monsignor Farrell and Niskayuna finished in the top 10 of the Paul Short - Brown race while Monroe-Woodbury won the smaller White race. Fairport and CBA Syracuse won at Tully, John Jay - East Fishkill and Regis won at Brewster, and B teams Pittsford Sutherland and Honeoye Falls-Lima won at the LeRoy and Penfield-Irondequoit meets respectively. Two of the biggest changes in the rankings came as a result of Bronx Science's win in the NYC Mayor's Cup and Westhampton Beach's victory at Saint Anthony's.

The huge Manhattan Invitational looms ahead on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx as the meet unleashes 40+ races. Also on the run this weekend are meets at Burnt Hills, Byram Hills Bobcat, Beaver River, Alden Bulldog Stampede, Rome Coughlin, Glover, and the Disney Classic down in Orlando.
