Section 3's Chelsea Lamphere (Chittenango) had more than just the race on her mind, when she toed the line at the McQuaid Invitational at Genesee Valley Park. 24 hours prior, her mother succumbed to her battle with cancer, after a 10-year long battle. Her team didn't know. It would be the power of racing with her team that would help her cope with the loss.
