Week 3 rankings revolved around a huge day at McQuaid that saw Shenendehowa upset the highly ranked Beavercreek team from Ohio in the AAA race. Niskayuna, Liverpool, and Corning also ran big in the AAA race, while East Aurora and Newfane made major impressions with wins in the AA and A races. One of the big treats at McQuaid was the skirmish between four top D teams Tully, Elmira Notre Dame, Clymer-Sherman-Panama, and Maple Grove in the A race that pulled them all in within 9 points of each other.
Elsewhere, top preformances included Arlington's crush at John Killian, Greenwich's cannonball splash in the Ocean State D1 race while Saratoga was streaking off with Championship race win, Cicero-North Syracuse and South Lewis going big at EJ Herrmann, and Cornwall grinding out a win at Bowdoin even though its top runner has been on the sidelines freshening up.
The weekend's big action starts with the Saint Anthony's and Scarsdale meets on Friday, moves to the Great American meet in NC, Grout, Brewster, Tully, and inaugural Frontier Mustang meets on Saturday, and ends with the NYC Mayor's Cup on Sunday.
