Packer Collegiate (Pelicans)
Roster
Outlook: The Pelicans have a full pouch back from last year's 4th-place squad, and a top trio of top-15 finishers including Peter Cembalest, Davis Robertson, and Carter Weaver are a great base to build a champion pack around. The prospects for 2020 do not seem as bright though, so Packer needs to get the job done this year.
Hackley (Hornets)
Roster
Outlook: The Hornets have a young developing team that should have enough talent to be a strong contender for the AIS title in 2019. Jonah Gorevic raised his season's TR another 5 points last season, and sophomore Brendan DiStefano should give Hackley the top duo among the top 4 AIS contenders.
Trinity (Tigers)
Roster
Outlook: The Tigers lost Geordie Young, Aydin Williams, and Stephen Andryc from last year's AIS champs' top group, so 2019 will need a quick rebuild. Fortunately, sophomore Nikhil DeNatale gives Trinity a strong lead to build around, and there's a good chance for development behind him.
Collegiate (Dutchmen)
Roster
Outlook:
The Dutchmen have all but one of their top 7 guys back for 2019, and they have by far the deepest squad. George Nicholson, William Goodwin, and Ben Davis finished in the AIS top 20, and Collegiate could well return to its glory days if speed ratings rise for some of the younger guys in the middle.
Riverdale Country Day (Falcons)
Roster
Outlook: The Falcons aren't really contenders for the AIS team title going into 2019, but they have the AIS's top duo in champ Tobias Wolfson and 10th place finisher Nathaniel Oakes.
