Texas' top sprinters laced the Great Southwest Elite Boys 100m. Matthew Boling, Ryan Martin, Ashton O'Conner, and Bryson Stubblefield.
Boling got a serious challenge through 50m from Florida sprinter Taylor Banks before Banks dropped out of the race. Boling ran a wind legal 10.15 and he was followed by Kennedy Lightner from Arkansas in 10.34. Martin followed in third with at 10.38, O'Conner in fourth with a 10.53, and Stubblefield finished in sixth with a 10.72.
