For the first time ever, the Spring Track will employ what has been dubbed the Super Standard. Based on the average 4th place finish over the past five years, it is a stringent time, that when met, guarantee's an athlete a place on the starting line at the State Meet, as long as they participate in the event at the State Qualifier, regardless of finishing place.
While it may seem on the surface that the below numbers would be adding a mass of people to the State Meet, remember that each Section already qualifies two per Division, and many of the Super Standard qualifiers would be taking those places regardless.
