New York and Northeast Regional Previews For FL/NXN

NY Boys Individuals

Breakdown:  What a lineup!  It looks like 188.7 is the 10th ranked athlete over at Foot Locker NE, so it's no surprise that most of New York is entered at Regionals.  There are five clear individuals to be considered favorites, but any one of ten more trailing athletes could prove spoiler to those select five.  Shea Weilbaker, Parker Stokes, and Ryan Guerci all managed to break 16mins at Sunken Meadow.  That alone puts them in strong position to qualify to NXN.  Behailu Bekele-Arcuri, Sean Henretta, and Colin Waters were your next athletes in the merge, and are ranked as such here.  But the merge is only on paper, and with a position to catch ahead of you, any of the athletes from Class B, C, and D could push past.

There are plenty here looking to make a huge jump, specifically Matt Payamps, who missed out on the Fed Meet last week, and will be looking to defend the Saint Anthony's name in the meet's absence.  His former teammate was Fed champ a year before, and this may be the perfect replacement.  However, this meet will be decidedly harder than the Fed meet was set to be, so expect it to be a tall order.

Note: Individuals here assumes that the two teams projected to qualify, indeed will.  Sam Lawler is the only athlete double entered in FL and NXN.
