Boys Class A Individuals
State of the Action: A little more even race than the last time Shea Weilbaker was at Sunken Meadow, gave the Saratoga senior some company through the picnic area. Geoff Howles and Behailu Bekele-Arcuri were right on his shoulder at 600m to go, and it looked like Weilbaker's first ever State Title might be in jeopardy. However, utilizing the same kick that lead to both an Indoor and Outdoor 3200m State Title, Weilbaker kicked away from the pair to win the race, just over his previous course best, tops among the merge.
