Summary: Fayetteville-Manlius won last year's battle over Liverpool by 17-49 with Claire Walters taking individual honors, but this year is a whole different matter. Liverpool is #1 in the state and is looking to break FM's string of 14 straight Sectional titles with a well balanced lineup led by Jenna Schulz and Madison Neuner. In a contest that could be so close, every place does matter, but the key decider will likely be whether the Hornets' 3-6 spots can be pulled up to get closer to the Warriors' 4-5 finishers. Projections have the teams at a dead heat, but Liverpool has taken the win in the last two meetups, so they get the edge based on recent history. Claire Walters is again the favorite to win her third straight individual S3-A title.

Summary:  CBA Syracuse was bumped up to Class B after winning the States C championship and then performed the very unBrotherly act of dominating their new classmates in S3-B. Olivia Morganti was 3rd in the S3-C race last year but has leaped to a new level this year, though Camden's Elizabeth Lucason will try to stay close.

Summary: With reigning S3-C champ CBA now up in S3-B, the race became wide open here. Eva Borton was last year's individual champ, and now her Clinton team looks to have an edge on everyone else after an impressive win in the CSC. South Jefferson won the recent Adirondack Invite though, so this race could be very close.

Summary:   Some races are just a little hotter than others. When you have the top two teams in a class plus the 4th ranked D team deciding who gets to ride in S3-D's lone seat at States, you have a very hot one. Brooke Rauber now has a Tully pack running right behind her (okay, 1 or 2 minutes back), and that group is the one threatening to unseat South Lewis despite the Falcons' big trio of Hannah Ielfield and Lexi and Brynn Bernard. A virtual score from the TRs has it at approximately: Tully 51, South Lewis 66, Beaver River 71. South Lewis will need to find a way to bring its #4 and #5 up above the packing zone where the largest part of the S3-D runners will be placing.
