The 2018 New York Relays Live Stream Preview

Boys Distance

800m

This race has some potential, as the marks are there for something fast.  Malcolm Going (Danbury, CT) and Noah Tindale (Guilderland) carry nearly identical personal bests at 1:52.90, while Matt Rizzo (Bronxville) and Jeffrey Perdomo (Dewitt-Clinton) will be looking to bring their Indoor Improvements to the Outdoor oval, right in that same vicinity.

1600m

Shea Weilbaker (Saratoga) will be coming back on Day 2 for a less competitive affair in the shorter distance, but still has some sub-4:20 competitors to handle with Ermiyas Harper (Midwood) and Alex Rizzo (Bronxville).

3200m

Prepare for this race to go fast. Mason Gatewood (Saint Anthony's) is moving up in distance to take on the Indoor State Champ Shea Weilbaker (Saratoga).  Surprisingly, we couldn't find a mark for Gatewood at this distance, but his mile converts close to 9:10.  Weilbaker has gone 9:13.72, but dropped a Season Best here last year, and could make a similar leap again.  Matt Payamps (Saint Anthony's) is here too, another potential winner, with plenty of 9:20 guys looking to break in.  Jamie Granata (Minisink), Louis Greco (Goshen), Evan Sherman (Brooklyn Tech), and Ryan Guerci (Nanuet) are all set for big races.

3000m SC

You'll have dueling schools at the front here, as Xavier brings in Aidan Donahue and Sawyer Gwyn-Rowsom to battle with Goshen's Liam Higgins and Louis Greco.
