Why Watch: This Freshman may have been around since last year, but she is making a splash in the early season in the 1000m. Mt. Sinai's third girl in XC this year, the shorter distance seems to suit her better, as she is on the cusp of breaking 3mins in the event. For a freshman, that's not bad, showing there is a lot more in the tank here. We'll keep an eye out for further development, but Chandrika could add some depth to an already talent-filled event.
