The Trailer: With
back-to-back wins at VVS and Wayne Pre-States, Fayetteville-Manlius
went back to the top of Class A. Niskayuna and Corning were a ways
behind the Hornets at Pre-States, and both teams promise to stay close
the rest of the season. Behind the top 3 are a big pack of developing
contenders as Northport, Fairport, Smithtown, Shenendehowa, Ithaca, and
Guilderland present a formidable group to battle with in sections and at
States. Xavier leads the CHSAA teams in the early part of the season in
what looks to be a classic playground rumble all the way to the end.
Expect a lot of movement in the rankings next week after a big weekend
of action.
